I am absolutely thrilled to share that Joey’s EAA Tailwheel Endorsement Scholarship is now active !!! I am SO excited for this ! I am so Grateful to EAA and everyone here for the support.

Joey Ermel “Do Your Impeccable Best” Tailwheel Endorsement Scholarship

✈️ Right now, this is an annual fund, but we are hoping to raise enough for a $25,000 endowment, which will last for many, many years and will continue to help another Pilot enjoy the Gift of Flying Tailwheel ! I am thrilled for this !

Since Tailwheel Flying and Technologies were his greatest Passions, the best way to honor his Legacy is:

a Toolkit Scholarship at SIU for a Tech Student

a Tailwheel Endorsement Scholarship through EAA to help inspire another Aviator to enjoy Vintage Flying.

The pictures above were taken on the way to SIU for his job interview at the Southern Illinois Airport, on August 5, 2020. He got the job! Then we headed to Joe’s Grandparents in Ava, Missouri to meet up with big Brother Josh for a day before heading back home to Illinois. A beautiful landing on the grass strip at MO77, Arnika Ranch Airport.
